empty at 12:30-primo lunch time. that should be first clue. got chicken kabobs. I dont know what i got but it wasnt chicken. when i tried to cut it up, it moved like rubbery jello. and when i put it in my mouth it had the consistancy of a loogie. it was gross, i was in the company of others but excuse me, i had to spit the offense out of my mouth. took another bite just to be sure i didnt get a gelatinous piece, and again had to spit it out. so giving up on the chicken, I resorted to french fries, ugh, one french fry was all i could stomach it reaked of old oil, reused much? gross. never again. so gross. tossed my whole mess, went to Patio and ordered a real chicken. I wouldnt even give this a one star, for that merits SOMETHING. THIS PLACE HAS NOTHING.

I've eaten here 3 times the first time I got the ribs and they were great the sides though were horrible. The next time we went I got the pulled pork and it was decent but I made the mistake of having them put the hot bbq sauce on my sandwich and it ruined the whole thing. The last time we went I got the philly cheesesteak and the steak and huge pieces of fat hanging off it. My family didn't like their meals either. Their regular bbq sauce is about the only good thing they have going at this place

For a neighborhood business, it doesn't get much better than Nicks. The ribs are fantastic and we both love their burgers. We usually eat in and get great service even though it's a place where you order at the counter. The pulled pork sandwich is excellent as well. As for sides, I prefer the fries, curly and French, the half ear of corn, and cole slaw. If you order dinners, you get a choice of three sides. This place has been around ever since I can remember and is a true Tinley Park classic.

Food is good, problem is everything else is terrible about this place. People inside taking orders have no clue how to talk to people or follow instructions. Always triple check any orders you leave with . Add the degenerate poker machines in their dining room and instant lottery scratch tickets for an extra classy feel inside.

Very mediocre. The macaroni was absolutely disgusting !! I will never eat here again. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Over priced and bad service. Wanted a double cheese burger, and referred to it as a big baby which is what most places call it. The person at the counter was rude and obnoxious about it and that they do not call it a big baby. So freaking sorry to have ruined your day by by calling it the wrong name you burger flipper, oh sorry you order taker. Anyway the food is totally tasteless, especially the hot dogs, gyros, and "DOUBLE CHEESE BURGERS". The fries are terrible. The food is cooked behind a wall hint...... Don't eat food where you can't see it being made.

How can a gyro have no taste? The sauce was straight up sour cream, zero effort, no cucumber shavings or taste. The fries were forgettable. Pita was either steamed or nuked, definitely not thrown on the grill. Disappointed since I literally only have a gyro once a year. $9 with tax for the plate and my daughter & I threw 60% away. I will not be back, and will drive to Archer & Central to get a real gyros next year.

I love their boneless rib sandwich otherwise I would never go back. The service is consistently horrible. The same people at the tinley location have worked there a long time & always act like it's their first day on the job. Just pulled into their drive thru & no one greeted me for 2 minutes although the guy could clearly see me through the window. I pulled up &the guy didn't greet me or say anything such as hello I'll be with u in a moment while he was on the phone. It was another 3 minute before he opened the window & rudely said what can I get you. To add my friend said their chicken is awful. Some of the food may be good but they need to work on their customer service skiils.

Had a terrible experience yesterday evening at this location. They've always had a problem with their service, but last night was the kicker. Actually last week I went there on a Sunday night and when I walked in there were 5 people in line and someone behind the counter that had no idea what they were doing. I was there for 5 minutes and the line never moved, I walked out. I decided to give them another try last night. I called in my $14 order ahead of time. I was told it would take 20 minutes. I showed up in 25 minutes and much to my dismay, was told that I would need to take a seat and the food will be ready in a few minutes. I waited 10 more minutes. The place wasn't even crowded. Whoever is running this place is running it into the ground. The only reason why I'm giving this review two stars, is that some of the food is good and what I ordered last night did not disappoint.

We just tried this place for the first time because we had a groupon for it. My husband LOVES BBQ and since we have recently moved to the area we have been checking out some local places. We got the food as takeout and we were very happy we tried it! The bbq sauce was fantastic! It seemed like a good value for the money. We got a slab of ribs and a bbq pork sandwich. The sandwich was big enough for 2 people (or one HUNGRY person), and the meat was literally falling off of the rib bones. We will definitely be back!
